Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this Agile project management training designed for?
The training is suited to project managers, product owners, Scrum masters, developers, business analysts, and team leaders who want to build or strengthen their Agile skills. It is particularly valuable for professionals transitioning from traditional project management methods to Agile ways of working, as well as those joining Agile teams for the first time.
Do I need prior Agile or Scrum experience to attend?
No prior Agile experience is needed. The training starts with Agile fundamentals and the Scrum framework before moving into applied practice. Participants who already have some exposure to Agile will benefit from the structured approach to Scrum roles, ceremonies, and metrics, as well as the hands-on simulations and tool sessions.
What is the difference between Agile and Scrum?
Agile is a set of values and principles for managing work in an adaptive, people-focused way. Scrum is a specific framework that puts those principles into practice. It defines roles, ceremonies, and artifacts that teams use to plan, execute, and review work in short cycles called sprints. This training covers both, starting with Agile and then going deep on Scrum.
Which Agile tools does this training cover?
The training includes live demonstrations of widely used Agile project management tools including Jira, Trello, and ClickUp. You will see how teams use these tools to manage backlogs, track sprint progress, and visualize work through burn-down charts and Agile dashboards. The focus is on practical use, not just an overview of features.
Will this training prepare me for a Scrum certification?
This training covers the core knowledge areas tested in entry-level Scrum certifications such as the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). While it is not a certification prep course, participants consistently report that it gives them a strong foundation for pursuing certification afterward. Check the specific certification body for its current exam requirements.
