Donor-Funded Procurement and Grant Compliance Training Course
Duration: 5 Days
Location: Nairobi
Course Overview
Procurement in donor-funded projects must meet rigorous standards to ensure transparency, value for money, and compliance with funding agency rules. This course equips participants with the knowledge and tools to manage procurement and grant implementation in alignment with the requirements of major donors such as the World Bank, USAID, UN agencies, EU, and others.
The course explores donor procurement principles, grant lifecycle management, documentation requirements, and audit readiness. Participants will learn how to apply specific procurement methods (e.g., RFPs, RFQs, shopping, ICB/NCB), manage contracts, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance throughout the project cycle.
With real-world examples, hands-on tools, and scenario-based simulations, this course prepares professionals to meet the expectations of donors, mitigate risks, and deliver compliant, accountable results in development projects.
