Training Course on Project Procurement and Contract Management

Training Course on Project Procurement and Contract Management

Duration: 5 Days

Location: Nairobi

Course Overview
Procurement and contract management are critical to delivering value, ensuring accountability, and mitigating risks in project implementation. Inefficiencies or non-compliance in procurement can lead to delays, cost overruns, disputes, and reputational harm—especially in donor-funded and public sector projects.
This course provides participants with the knowledge and tools to manage procurement processes and contracts effectively, from planning and solicitation to supplier performance monitoring and contract closeout. It covers procurement regulations, risk management, contract negotiation, vendor selection, and compliance with donor and government procurement frameworks.
Through real-world case studies, practical simulations, and procurement document reviews, participants will learn to design procurement plans, manage contracts in line with scope and budget, resolve disputes, and ensure value for money (VfM) in project delivery.
