Course Overview
Global food systems are increasingly challenged by climate change, resource scarcity, population growth, and environmental degradation. Building sustainable agriculture practices and resilient food systems is essential to ensuring food security, improved livelihoods, and environmental sustainability.
This course provides participants with practical knowledge and skills to design, implement, and scale sustainable agricultural interventions that enhance productivity while conserving natural resources. It covers climate-smart agriculture, agroecology, sustainable land and water management, food value chains, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, and climate adaptation strategies.
Through case studies, field-based simulations, and practical workshops, participants will gain expertise in developing agricultural programs and policies that improve food security, strengthen rural economies, and increase resilience to climate shocks.
