Training Course on Understanding Administrative and Constitutional Law

Training Course on Understanding Administrative and Constitutional Law

Duration: 5 Days

Location: Nairobi

Course Overview
Administrative and constitutional law are the cornerstones of lawful governance, citizen rights, and public accountability. This course introduces non-lawyers—especially those in government, civil society, and policy roles—to the key principles, structures, and doctrines that shape public authority and ensure the rule of law.
Participants will explore the structure of government, separation of powers, checks and balances, and the legal limits of administrative actions. The course also covers fundamental rights, lawful decision-making, administrative fairness, and constitutional remedies available to aggrieved parties.
With a strong focus on practical application, the course empowers participants to understand how legal norms apply to policy, service delivery, oversight, and institutional behavior—helping them become more informed, accountable, and constitutionally compliant leaders.
