Whistleblower Protection and Reporting Training 2026
Duration: 5 Days
Location: Nairobi
Course Overview
When people inside an organization see wrongdoing and say nothing, the problem grows. When they speak up and face punishment for it, the damage is worse. Effective whistleblower protection is not just a legal requirement. It is a sign of how seriously an institution takes its own integrity.
This course gives compliance officers, HR managers, auditors, and governance professionals the knowledge and tools to build whistleblower systems that work. You will learn what the law requires, what employees are entitled to, and how to design reporting channels that are secure, accessible, and trusted. You will also learn how to manage reports correctly once they come in, protect those who raise concerns, and prevent the retaliation that undermines institutional accountability.
Sessions draw on real whistleblower cases, international legal frameworks including the UN Convention Against Corruption and OECD recommendations, and practical tools for policy design and case handling. Role plays and policy workshops keep the learning applied throughout.
